promoters Adam Brewer and Trey Edwards are teaming up with Nuno's
on Sixth to bring the first Heart of Texas Red, White, and Blues
Festival to Waterloo Park in Austin, TX. The steamy July 1st
Independence Day celebration will feature two stages with legendary
blues artists, local heroes, and bleeding edge rock 'n roll
including the first show of Big Head Todd and the Monsters'
new tour and only Texas date. GE Smith of "Saturday Night
Live" fame, blues Master Hubert Sumlin, and some VERY Special
Guests will team up for a once in a lifetime 90 minute set.
This amazing lineup also includes Charlie Sexton, Malford Milligan,
WC Clark, Bob Schneider, Gary Clark Jr, Grady, Dirty Wormz,
Gooding, Alpha Rev, Broken Teeth, Johnny Goudie, Alan Haynes,
Lomita, and many more.
This is an all-ages event and
their will be family friendly attractions.
The festival will benefit the XP Family Support Group, American
Youthworks, and the Clifford Antone Memorial Fund. Clifford
Antone was slated to emcee the event and was instrumental in
helping secure much of the talent.

Parking is free at the state lots across the street
from park until 6pm.
Tickets are $24 pre-sale until June 17 and then they jump to
$30.? A very limited number of VIP Tickets are available for
$145 each. Both are available at all Front Gate Ticket outlets
as well as at Nuno's on Sixth.
VIP Tickets include:
Full Liquor Bar
Access to VIP areas at both stages and VIP treehouse.
Admission to exclusive VIP/artist after party at Nuno's on Sixth.
Gates open at 10:00am and music starts at 10:30am.
