Stew has it all together, and they
prove it in this CD. From the strong and excellent vocals to the
right on-in the pocket instruments to the professionalism of this
There was not ONE
bad song to find on this extraordinary CD.....If
you like southern rock with a kick well then you definitely owe it
to yourself to check these bunch of musicians out.
Its obvious that these artists are professionals all the way.
Gary Jeffries has that voice that just goes on forever along with
his guitar work and oh lets not forget about that harp, boy can he
blow a mean one. Johnny Andrews is the lap steel/slide/guitar and
let me tell you when he starts playin' he will put every part of you
on edge. The Rhythm section of Alligator
Stew is TC Markle's drums and Doug
Richardson's Bass: between the two of them they will kick out those
beats with a low down & dirty groove.
As I mentioned, there is not a bad song on this cd, this band
has professionally used their talent to put the music down to
superior & heartfelt songwriting.
The songs on this cd that grabbed my heart and soul were:
'One time too Long'
'Rose Thorn Bed'
'Mad Dog Saloon'
