Grimm performed at the last Worldfest and was so impressed with the event, she quickly came onboard as a volunteer. Kathryn will be managing The Ocean Room as well as performing there with KGB ("The Kathryn Grimm Band"). Worldfest is an outdoor, solar-powered event created to educate all about the environment, healthy living and animal welfare. This year's Worldfest is expected to be L.A.'s largest Earth Day event with three stages (over 30 bands), numerous booths, food samples, a celebrity panel and an animal adoption area. Celebrity Justice's Jane Velez-Mitchell will host. Grimm was recently a featured artist on KLOS 95.5 FM's "Local Licks" program as well as the New Artist Showcase. Her latest CD, GRIMM
AGAIN (Real Music Records), has received critical praise from publications/media outlets SOUTHLAND BLUES, INDIEGUITARISTS.COM, BLUESROCKERS, and THE MUSES MUSE, to name a few. "Her smooth alto voice possesses a superb range that allows her to move higher and higher in search of the right inflection," writes SOUTHLAND BLUES' Jim Santella. "The band's energetic backbeats and sizzling rhythmic drive…get their spirit from her powerful electric guitar licks…she also soars majestically through and around the band's performance as a soloist, grinding a fiery guitar message to complement each lyric. She's a convincing artist who enjoys communicating with her audience through the blues."
Kathryn's Song "The Way I Feel" from GRIMM AGAIN is the Blueblood Featured Artist on nationally syndicated radio program BLUES DELUXE the week of April 17-23. BLUES DELUXE based out of Arlington, TX is the only show of its kind heard nationally by over two million listeners on 102 FM radio stations (affiliates list available), and reports to both LIVING BLUES and ROOTS MUSIC REPORT

Guitarists Marvin McDaniels (Bus Boys, Jasmine Guy), Tracy G.
