I have to admit that at the beginning, I thought to myself that this is not the typical SRA sound, well that thought didn't last long. Then SRA as always kicked this rockin' cd into gear, as always you can expect the best from SRA, except for one thing, on 'Danger Road', the best gets better......
This is not your average bunch of musicians, they have been there - done that, and now they're doing it THEIR WAY. They consist of:
Jakson 'Thunderfoot' Spires - Drums/percussion/vocals: Co-founder of Blackfoot, Jakson performed on various studio sessions with artists such as: Benny Mardones, Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzy, Blues legends Willie Dixon & Albert King.
Dave Hlubek - Lead&slide guitars/vocals: Founder of Molly Hatchet.
Jay Johnson - lead-rhythm-slide-acoustic guitarist/keys/ lead vocals: Member of the Rossington Band & Radio Tokyo. Played guitar on THE RIGHT TIME, by Blues diva Etta James.
Charles 'Fireball' Hart - bassist/rhythm guitar/vocals: Founded Cruize Control in 1986, joined Tempera in 1987 , who appeared with Richard Marx's first tour. Joined Radio Tokyo in 1988. As an engineer, has worked on projects with Gov't Mule, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Widespread Panic & SRA.

It was difficult to pick out favorites here, when you are listening to professional talented songwriters/singers/musicians but here are some that hung with me:
** Stump Jumpin' - Awesome song, hot sounds from all.
** Southbound - Good ole southern rockin' sound
** Rock & Roll Dreams - Hot rocker with hot vocals and instruments.
** Too Far Gone - Hot rocker with a killer ending.
** The Hill - Dynamic drums/guitars - Excellent kickin' tune.
** See You in Your Dreams - song for the heart.
** Someday We'll be Free - Excellent song, straight from the heart.
Go ahead and check SRA out, you won't be sorry. You will only get excellent sound engineering, hot instruments and vocals and superb songwriting. The world needs more of good ole southern rock bands like this.
